Life Changes

Many new decisions and life changes are taking place in our little world. We're still homeschooling, that is not changing and for now still not on the changing radar of things. I can't share with everyone just yet what is all taking place but I can give a little insight to our world.

With two teenagers life has it's many low's and highs , but with God all things are possible. As we figure out this new stage in life not only for the teen's but also for us the parents it's brought a great deal of insight to the world. It has led us to some of the changes that will be taking place for us soon.

We feel these changes will be better for all of us, although it may be hard at first, but we're all confident that we'll adjust nicely. We are striving to live a more simple life, one that doesn't entail us to be everywhere all at one time. Not that we're cutting everything out, but some. We've chosen to get rid of the chaos and clutter that surrounds our everyday. We simply are tired of all the worldly things, that include possessions, thoughts, activities, and other such things of this world that just take up space that we don't need in our lives. It's time to live a life of purpose , a life where there is meaning and fulfillment, a life where God leads us more, where we reevaluate and check ourselves regularly. Why?

Sometimes the "stuff" of this world can become so consuming that it just bogs us down. It ties us to unnecessary things, and unnecessary circumstances. It fills hearts with more sorrow and pain. It fills  minds with unpleasant thoughts. One minute we think yes there's the life we're looking for, there's the purpose we've been waiting for, but boom it crashes and crushes us like nothing else. We then begin to doubt who we are, where we belong, what we're even doing here. We question and wonder again, what is our purpose all over again. It's time to tackle that problem , get rid of the worldly views, thoughts, and possessions and get back to basics. It's time to let God truly lead us on our journey. It's time to refocus and renew our spirits. With God at the lead that is truly how we will find purpose and meaning in our lives. This is why we're making changes together as a unit, as a family.

As we begin this new journey together I invite you to follow us on our journey. Any encouragement and thoughts, and prayers will be greatly appreciated. We will need them.

We're looking forward to sharing more with you as things begin to develop. So stay tuned, there is much more in store.
