It's been a little while but things are running smoothly. Homeschooling is going well and the kids are learning and creating most of the time.
Hubby is back at work we are so glad for that. He works about 14 hours a day and we don't see him much but it's worthy every moment when we do.
The kids are having loads of fun at Co-op . They are making new friends and learning all about Partriots, candy making, scrapbooking, pilgrams, and they are also involved in a mini-musical. They are always willing to share what they learned which is a great joy for us to hear as parents.
My daughter is in the Musical at church she should know what part she'll be shortly. She is really looking forward to it but knows it will also be hard work. My son is still in the choir although that will be ending shortly. He'll continue with his TaeKwonDo so that will make him happy.
I had a great turn out for the Valentines Workshop I held last Saturday and look forward to doing more. We made three projects that lasted about 3 hours. The ladies all started with a mini-coaster calendar. Then we moved to a 4x6in. box , and lastly they worked on a card. They made all these projects using the Thats Amore Paper Pack , the stamp sets Ms. Sweet Heart, and Soul Mates from Close to my Heart's Spring Idea Book . The colors included Chocolate, Tulip, Sweet Leaf, and Blush. They were all happy and impressed with their projects and can't wait to do more.Next month I'm planning on having them do a 12x12 2 page layout using the Emporium Level 2 paper pack. Havn't quiet decided on the rest yet but will know soon.
My dearest friend came the weekend before last and we had so much fun despite the fact of her and her children getting sick. You never can predict what's going to happen. It was a delight and a great joy to see them again for it's been a while. We have missed them so. Hopefully we'll see them all ago soon. We will be seeing them for her youngest birthday party for he'll be turning 1 I can't believe it's already been a year since the little tyke's been born. He is such a precious gift from God.
I must sign off for now have to make lunch for children and get back to schooling. Take care and we'll blog again real soon.
Go and live your life to the fullest, for it could be taken away in just one breath.
Mandy
